COMPETITIVE PROGRAM

The Competitive Program is designed for dancers looking for a more intensive class structure. Dancers are required to be in the Ballet program will study and follow the CDTA Exam Syllabus or BATD Syllabus and will participate in Ballet Exams every second year. Competitive dancers will have the opportunity to attend three competitions (possibly four) throughout the dance season. They will attend local competitions, as well as another competition out-of-province, that is decided on by staff at the beginning of each dance season.

When dancers register for and are accepted into the Competitive Program, they and their parents or guardians understand that the participation in exams, competitions and recitals are mandatory.

Dancers in the competitive program are required to perform in our annual Nutcracker dreams.
